Determinants of Work-Related Stress among Nursing Professionals

The work environment is one of the significant factors causing work-related stress. Supervising stress crucial as it associated with arousal diseases, low productivity, and occupational calamities. This article aims to explore concept its determinant in nursing understand this phenomenon. We used qualitative research methodology examine antecedents among nurses public sector hospitals. Ten semi-structured interviews were conducted nurses, themes extracted. An interpretive approach was applied for data analysis. Criticism abuse from physicians, violence colleagues, patients, unmanageable workload, unpredictable staffing scheduling, gender discrimination are primary sources Nurses experience ascending environment's psychological, physical, social facets. Stress reduces performance capacity, efficiency, lack concern colleagues organization.
